Regarding An Update To My February 20th Email – “Unethical Conduct By Some Staff Members At My Scotiabank Branch”

This email is an update of the first one that I sent for you on February 20th, regarding the different ethical issues that I have raised about some of the policies and practices of the local bank where my husband and I have been doing our banking for over 5 years now.

1. First, I mistakenly identifying our bank branch as being the one that located at the corner of Dufferin and St Clair Av. West. The branch that I am actually speaking of is the one that is located at Oakwood Avenue and St Clair Avenue West. For this error I do deeply apologize; and I also sincerely apologize causing any disturbances or disruptions that this error may have brought to the staff and management of the Scotiabank branch located near the Dufferin and St Clair West intersection.

2. We discovered this morning that our Scotiabank bank account on February 20th, the same day that I sent my first email to your office. On behalf of my husband and myself I wish to thank you for having it closed so quickly, as we had requested that you have done for us in that first email. As my short February 23 follow up email indicated, however, I was hoping that our account was still kept open until the start of next month in order for our ODSP direct deposit to go through first so that we could avoid some of the headaches of having to have a cheque mailed to us or even having to go the office of ODSP to pick up our monthly support cheque for the month of March. At the time that I send the February 23 email to you neither my husband nor I was aware that our account was closed three days before.

3.On behalf of my husband and myself I wish to thank you for also having the balance of the NSF charges waived that was charged to our account for that for that transaction that was just $3 overdrawn. My family can use that $30 that was returned to us to help with our living expenses.

4. This afternoon when we went to open a new account at the Oakwood and St Clair branch, where we have been doing our banking for years, with Deloris Baptiste, my favorite staff member working there. However, after checking with the management of this branch she informed us that: the manager indicated to her that he is waiting for the office of the President of Scotiabank to address the concerns that we brought to the attention of the President before he can proceed with our request to open a bank account at this bank branch. We were surprise, and disappointed with this news – especially since this is the bank branch we have been doing our banking for a number of years now; and also the same one where our daughter opened her own bank account over a year ago.

 

Mr. President,

My name is Avatar Galextra, and I am here on the blue planet to serve and protect the greater good of all life forms living here through the life changing and planet healing work that I do as an Avatar – in order to bring all beings living here together - with a body of deep truths and true insights to show and teach humankind the type and quality of behavior and thinking that they each need to adopt, practice, and master: so that all life forms living as mortal tenants of the Mother of the Earth can learn to live in a state of true harmony, lasting peace, permanent abundance and real enlightenment after a period of time and extensive work. That is who I am and the work that I do.

I am also a customer of your Scotiabank who has been experiencing a number of problems through my dealings with a number of unethical practices being conducted towards myself, and my husband, by some of the staff of the Scotia branch where my husband, our daughter, and I have been doing our banking for over five years now. I will address this issue in detail later in this email. But first I need to bring your attention to a serious problem that I have been taking steps to try to resolve regarding our bank account itself.

My husband and I opened a joint account at another branch in the Scarborough district about 10 years ago. Recently we were forced to initiate the process for closing this account in order to prevent an unethical Canadian Computer company from continuing to debit our account each month after they failed to meet their responsibility for the overpriced, low end, defected, computer that my daughter purchased on line from them nearly two years ago. This company charged our daughter almost $2,000 (including taxes) for a computer which sold for about $700 in retail stores at the time; and which she had agree to make a monthly payment of about $65 on for a total of 60 consecutive months – at a yearly interest rate of over 38% - which would end up costing her a total of nearly $2000 more in interest payments at that rate over that period of time. We only recently discovered the sordid details of the contract that our daughter had received by email at the time that she decided to buy that computer from that company.

At the same time this company has also refused to repair this defected computer, and only provides a limited warranty to customers who paid the entire amount at the time of purchase, for an additional cost. As an Avatar, who is fighting for the rights of all families of all life forms to be able to have the freedom to make decisions for their own lives – without harming the lives of others: I refuse to condone the extortion practices of an unscrupulous computer company towards my daughter, who did not have a bank account, a credit rating, or any income at the time of purchase.

On February 9th my husband and I took specific steps to close our joint account with a staff member named Deloris Baptiste, who has shown herself to be a respectful, responsible, and professional customer representative at that bank in our dealings with her; and who also happens to be someone of African Canadian heritage as my family members also are; and also one of the few staff members working there that I will do my banking with whenever I go there. We took careful steps to make sure that a stop payment was placed on the debit from that computer company, at a cost to us of $20.

We left a total of $50 in our account to cover a $40 transaction from Pay Pal that was due to be debited within a few days; and we asked our customer representative not to forward the paperwork to close our account until we had verified that the $40 debit had cleared our account. There would then be about $10 left in our account after it was closed. A few days later a balance of minus $29 appeared on our account, which came as a surprise to us. My husband and I determined that this must have been because the bank had somehow tried to debit the $65 from our account for that computer company, which we had paid to have a stop payment put on a few days before by Deloris. We also calculated that the $40 debit from Pay Pal had been successfully processed leaving the balance of about $10, which must have been taken as part of the NSF payment for the $65 debit payment we had put a stop payment on.

So I called my favorite customer representative to let her know that she can now forward the paperwork to close our bank account, and for her to contact me to let us know when to come in to open a new one. I also wanted to inform her that there was a minus balance of $30 in our account, because of the NFS charge that we believed was levied against our account for the $65 debit payment that we had paid $20 of our scarce money to have her put a stop payment on. I was informed that she was away for the day, and I decided to contact her by email instead, which I did, which included the information above asking her to go ahead and close our account.

The day after Family Day I contacted her by phone to follow up on my email to her. She informed me that the NSF charge that was levied against our account was not for the $65 debit from the Computer company that we had put a stop payment on, nor was it for the $40 for the Pay Pal transaction that we had left the $50 in our account to cover – but that it was an NSF for another Pay Pal transaction for the amount of just over $12 Canadian. This news came as a complete surprise to us until our daughter remembered that she had forgotten to pay a monthly bill of less than $10 U.S. that we have for an account through PayPal, and a bill which she had always paid on time for over a year now.

Fate can be unkind even to an Avatar who is the team leader of a family of angelic beings living on this planet today as members of the same human family ( husband, wife, and daughter) who devote their entire mortal lives working to help a member of the Committee Of Gods – the most ancient and most evolved group of beings anywhere in Existence – to get most of her mythical and crucial work done in one lifetime. We live as a human family of African Caribbean descent, whose members all live on a fixed monthly income which we receive through Ontario Disability Support Payment (ODSP), after my husband and I were driven out of the workplace by a business culture that forces everyone to go along in order to get along with their immoral policies and unethical practices - in order for them to get ahead in this profit driven, youth obsessed, materialistically pre-occupied, and morally dysfunctional western culture.

In the minds of the authorities who have placed my family under 24 hour 7 day a week surveillance for a few decades now, as well as installed hidden listening, and viewing, devices inside every place of residence we have lived in during this time: there was no place in their workplaces, and other places, for a family whose members knew themselves to be a family of angelic beings headed by a woman of African Canadian heritage who declared herself to be a God, or an Avatar if you prefer. ODSP became our last place of refuge (for the past few years) after we were forced to live as a family of modern day hermits and social recluse for almost two decades now; and after ODSP decided that there must be something seriously wrong with the mental health of my family members to hold such a view of ourselves as being a group of angelic beings instead of it having the wisdom to recognize, and the courage to admit, that the Society has become a place that is socially dysfunctional, morally bankrupt, and spiritually diminished as I have shown it to be over the years over and over again.

When that customer representative revealed to me that day about the NSF charge that we were penalized with, for a $12 Canadian transaction which we had neglected to take care of and had forgotten about I was not only surprised, as I stated earlier, but I was also disappointed and angry with the fact that we had unwittingly and unknowingly fallen victims to one of the most expensive fines that Scotiabank levies against its customers. As a member of a family living on a fixed income it is a penalty that we cannot afford to pay, and a penalty that causes us a great deal of financial pain each of the two previous times that we ended up paying an NSF over the last three months for transactions that failed to go through because our account was less than $10, and less than $20 short, respectively for them to clear successfully. It is for this reason why my husband and I applied about a month ago for an overdraft protection (of about $100) with this bank so that we do not have to worry about the prospect of having to be hit with any NSF charges in the future. To date we are still waiting to hear from that bank about whether or not they will give us one!

I informed the customer representative that the bank should wave that NSF charge against our account, because of the fact that our account was only short less than $3 Canadian than what was needed to cover that $12 Canadian transaction that our daughter had not realized that we needed to leave enough money in our account to cover it. My husband and I could not believe the unfairness of the situation that saw us being charged a $40 penalty for a $12 transaction that we were short just a few dollars in our account for it to have cleared. For being short a few dollars we ended up with an NSF charge of $40 in our account. There was something wrong, and unethical about such a picture. Here we were a family living on a fixed income struggling to get through each month who had just being levied with a $40 penalty that we had taken every step to the best of our knowledge to make sure that we avoided while our account was in the process of being closed.
As an Avatar, part of whose job it is to expose problems so that they can be viewed, examined carefully, and solved in ways that always serves and protects the greater good of all of life: such an expensive NSF charge is morally indefensible in a Society where banks are given a license by the federal Governments to gouge customers, especially those people who are least able to afford to be legally extorted in this manner by the banks; and who are the people who make up the overwhelming majority of those who are penalized with NSF charges. Financial institutions, and the corporate culture in general, have become obsessively profit driven, blatantly self serving, and increasingly uncaring about serving, promoting, and protecting the interest and wellbeing of human beings in general. Since the days of the mega mergers when multinational companies, including banks like Scotiabank, got caught up in the frenzy of trying to quickly increase their size and strength to position themselves to compete in the emerging globalization mania that swept through the corporate world during the 1980’s, Canadian banks began the unethical practice of charging for all of the services, or for sharply increasing the cost of services, that they use to provide previously for little or nothing. Can you explain to this Avatar how any bank can increase its NSF, as well as its stop payment charges, for example, by a total of over 400% in less than a decade especially when the wages of most of its customers have either remain about the same during this period of time or even fallen?

After my favorite customer representative informed me that she did not have the authority to reverse that NSF charge I asked her to put me on to the person who is able to make that decision – the manager of that branch where we have been doing our banking for the past 5 years or more. I got the manager’s voice mail when she put my call through, and I proceeded to leave a message leaving a brief summary of the problem that we had encountered with that NSF penalty being leveled against our account, and asking him if he can return my call as soon as possible.

Later that evening I received a call from someone who identified herself as Maria, the customer service manager at that bank - instead of the call from the bank manager that I had expected. She was neither helpful, understanding, nor sympathetic to my plight. In fact, she was defensive, insensitive, and short sighted towards me during the 10 minute or so conversation that I had with her. She informed me that I had to contact the bank manager of the Scarborough branch, where my husband and I had opened our joint account nearly ten years ago, about reversing the NSF charge that was levied against our bank account. However, I pointed out to her that we do not have any dealings with that branch, have not had any dealings with them since we moved from that district to the one we now live in for over 5 years now, and do not wish to have any further dealings with anyone at that branch. I further informed this customer service manager that the bank where we have been doing our banking for years now is the bank that should be dealing with any concerns about our account that we had, which in this case involved this unfair NSF penalty.

This is the same “manager” whom I had hand delivered a letter of complaint in person to about three or so years back regarding an issue that is very important to this Avatar: the unprofessional conduct of some of its female staff members towards my husband, and myself, on a number of different occasions when we had gone there to do our banking. When I tried to speak to her about the behavior of one of her tellers, who was now working as a customer representative because she is due to have a baby in the near future, as an example of the unethical behavior that some of her staff conduct towards my husband, as well as other men who did their banking their while we were doing ours – she became angry and very defensive; and she did so especially after I informed her that this staff member, and others who behave in such a flirtatious, and disrespectful manner towards my husband, and other male customers, were behaving like prostitutes while working in respectable institutions such as a bank.

I have never been someone who sugar coated my words, who used polite diplomacy to hide the true meaning of what I am trying to say, as people in this culture have been schooled to do when they are expressing themselves in “respectable places” amongst “respected people.” I am an Avatar who speaks the truth very clearly and very simply so that the meaning of what I am saying is clear and understandable to anyone listening; I am an Avatar who lives the truth, who lives for the truth, who stands up for the truth, and who is prepared to give up her mortal life defending the truth even if others do not fully understand, support, and agree with my expression of, or my allegiance to the truth. All I can do is show some aspects of the problems whenever I see them, and even name the behavior whenever I encounter it so that it can be shown for what it is to all those who need to see and identify any of the issues I bring to their attention that are serving to destroy all of life for all life forms living on this planet today – just as the “Nothingness” was doing in the movie, The Never Ending Story. I have never practiced any of the harmful, self serving, and diminishing behavior that human beings have been taught to believe that they do not have the ability to avoid being a part of most of the time or even all of the time. But I do make it part of my job as Avatar Galextra to name such a behavior when I see the need for me to do so.

This customer service manager also did not appreciate me sharing some deep insights with her after she tried to indicate to me that this staff member whom I had informed her was one of the people who behave like a prostitute working in a bank – was the exact opposite of the person I had identified her to be. I showed her as only a highly developed spiritual being such as an Avatar has the clarity of sight, as well as the depth of insight, to see and show her – that the view that she holds of her co-workers, including the female staff member in question, reflected her own personal beliefs, biases, and prejudices about the kind of person that this staff member shows herself to be to her, as well as to other co-workers; and also about her view of that kind of flirtatious behavior being a normal part of the conduct of females towards males in general, and which the culture she and other human beings have been raised in were taught to accept as natural and normal for men and women to practice whether they or single, or married.

For a number of months I stood and watch different female tellers at that bank – all of whom happened to be of European heritage – continuously behave in a flirtatious manner towards my husband (and other male customers) to try to entice him into noticing them, or to try to entice him into having his manly ego stroke by this kind of promiscuous attention; or by dressing in low cut dresses that expose their breasts while they are standing, and especially when they are sitting and serving customers in an attempt to mentally caress the loins of any man who shows up to do banking their with their wife or girlfriend.
The mating game is a ritual that human beings have being programmed to play with each other on this planet especially with the opposite sex particularly when they reach the age of teen and beyond – by the different institutions of authority, especially the Television industry in recent times since its birth in the early 1940’s. It involves a socially mating dance that is performed through different body movements by human beings, with the intention of attracting, enticing, and eventually having a sexual relationship with whoever happens to be the target of their lustful interest; and a sexual social game that is often played and performed in subtle, persistent, and deliberate ways by those who are taking part in such a mating dance. Moving in a seductive manner while walking especially, caressing an item that one is holding in their hand, playing with the back of one’s hair by lifting it up, dressing in low cut dresses, or tight fitting tops, to bring attention to their bosom or to expose portions of their breasts, staring at the husband or the boyfriend of a woman while they are having a conversation with her at the time, and posing in a seductive manner: these are some of the sexual rituals that women on this planet have been socialized by other women especially to practice and master as part of the mating dance that they are encouraged and expected to perform in order to control, manipulate, and play with the inflated egos and the overheated loins of adult males especially on this planet.

It takes someone who has developed the integrity, and mastered the ability to see the larger picture, as well as the hidden movement, and unspoken communication, taking place beneath the consciousness of the surface of every human being, for example, as they express themselves – to observe and follow the mating dance that human beings perform constantly on a daily basis: not just in private and public places with their husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend but also at their places of work with co-workers, supervisors, managers, as well as customers; and also in public places such as malls, theatres, classrooms, board rooms, court rooms, hospitals, retail stores, parks, subways, and anywhere and everywhere human beings interact. I have taught my husband (and our daughter) to identify, and understand the different rituals human beings perform through the mating dance especially by showing him all the examples of this dance that he has been socialized by this culture to adopt, learn, and perform over the years, including the decades we have been together as a couple.
It took me many years of struggling, teaching, showing, and even arguing with him for him to learn to merge his ego with his larger and greater self and dissolve his manly interest in pursuing other women so that he can feed his lustful loins as males on this planet are programmed by males in this macho culture to do, with the unfortunate support of their mother, sister, grandmother, and other female members of the family. My husband has become a master of recognizing the rituals of the mating dance whenever it is being performed by members of the female gender as well as members of the male gender. He has become masterful at stopping other women, and even teenage females, from enticing him into taking part in that dance with them by keeping his ego merged with his larger self, and by dissolving any interest he had developed in being with other women sexually, in seeking the attention of other women, in being around them, or even in having them in his view unless he has to speak to one of them.
He no longer goes to the bank with me, unless he absolutely has to do so, and instead my daughter goes with me almost all of the time now that we have gone to that bank to do any banking over the last few years, for example. And when he does come with me he stays at the front entrance of the bank – in his own world – while my daughter and I do our banking; and if he has to go with me to see a teller, for example, he deliberately places his view away from that teller as well as from other staff members in the area at the time not out of any disrespect for any of them: but to make a statement to them that he may be a member of a race of men who are easily manipulated into playing the flirting game, and doing the mating dance – but that he is one man who no longer plays that game, or will allow anyone (male or female) to entice his ego or manipulate his loins into playing this emotionally and mentally killing game, this socially corrupting game, this spiritually diminishing game that serves to only destroy marriages, destroy families, destroy hearts, minds, and bodies; and destroy the very foundation and core of every mortal society sooner or later.

Only by learning the ancient spiritual art of mastering oneself through the process of becoming true to oneself, only by removing egotistical behavior and self serving thinking from their individual lives, only by identifying, and removing, the different forms of vices and other problems that one is taking part in inflicting on their fellow human beings, for example, only by learning to see and appreciate the wisdom and value of serving and protecting the greater good all of the time through one’s words, thoughts, and deeds - will members of the human race be able to finally begin to clear the layers of E. Veils that are blocking the radiance of their true, divine, perfect. and immortal form from lighting up their entire being; and in the process open up their true inner sight so that they can use its crystal clarity to start seeing human beings as the diminished, conflicted, afflicted race of mortal beings that they have been taught, molded, and forced into becoming; as well as being able to acquire the ability to see how truly, mystical, beautiful, radiant, and perfect each human being actually is – in their true and immortal form – as well as every other member of every life form sharing the blue planet with humankind today.

About a month ago I spoke to a manager who works as one of the telephone banking staff for Scotiabank, whose name I unfortunately failed to remember or to write down at the time. However, I do recall him saying that he was from the country of Ghana. I shared some of the concerns that I have with him about the unethical conduct of some of the staff members working at the Dufferin and St Clair West branch, and he was surprisingly not only respectful, and receptive to what I had to say – but he was also someone who could relate to the content of the insights I shared with him that evening and was also sympathetic and very supportive. It was through him that I was made aware that Scotiabank was a company that was headed by a President whose office invites and welcomes customers to contact him to bring attention to problems at the branch where they do there banking to the attention of the President if that customer is not satisfied with the manner in which those issues were dealt with by the management of that bank branch, or who is dissatisfied with the outcome. Can you forward a copy of this email letter to him for me with my blessings, if you are able to identify and track him down?

Yesterday I called the bank and spoke to Deloris to ask her if she had forwarded the paperwork she had done for us on February 9th, 2009 for our bank account to be closed. To my surprise, and disappointment, she informed me that she was instructed by her manager, the same customer service manager whom I had a difficult and frustrating conversation with a day earlier, not to forward the information for our account to be closed. I don’t know if this Customer Service manager is aware of your policy for dealing with ScotiaBank customers at any of your respective branches that your company has outlined on its website, regarding complaints that they have with that bank branch that they do their banking at. Step One of this complaint process states, in How to Resolve Your Complaints:

“Step One:
Talk to the people at your Branch or Service Centre.

If the person you speak to at the branch/service centre where you do business is not able to resolve your concern to your satisfaction, please speak directly to the Manager, who has the authority to resolve the majority of problems that arise.”

I have no idea why this “Customer Service Manager” told the customer representative who I have been dealing with, to hold up the process for our account to be closed. Maybe your office can find out?

Requests Of An Avatar For A Bank President

1. My husband and I would like to have our current bank account closed as soon as possible, hopefully in the next few days, as we have asked Deloris to do for us recently. I do not know why the Customer service manager at that bank has stalled this process by instructing her not to forward the paper work that we had her filled out on the 9th of February for this to be done by the branch we opened this account at many years ago.

2. We are asking that the current NSF charge against our account be reversed given the unfortunate circumstance that led to it being levied against us in the first place. Over the past three months we have paid a total of $80 for two separate NSF charges that we unintentionally were penalized for because we were short less than $20 in both cases in the required amount that we needed to have in our account for either debit transaction to successfully clear. We cannot afford the cost of these expensive NSF’s on our fixed income.

3. To avoid having to be in a position to have any NSF charges levied against our new account in the future we are asking the President of Scotiabank to give the authorization for us to receive an overdraft protection for about $100. This amount will give us the financial breathing space that we need so that we don’t have to worry about not having enough money in our account at any given time to clear the few small transactions that are debited from our account during any given month.

4. We also need to open a new joint account, which we expect to do soon once our current one is closed, by early next week the latest so that we will not experience any disruption in our banking transactions for the month of March. And we are asking that our bank branch does not attempt to place any stumbling blocks in our way as we try to do so – as a form of retaliation against us for my taking this issue to the President’s office in the manner in which I am now doing.

5. Finally, this Avatar is making a personal request to the President of one of the largest banking institutions in the world. Your company identifies itself as a multinational corporation that takes its corporate social responsibility seriously according to your official website:

Can this Avatar ask that you consider making the issue of ethics and integrity a conscious and central part of the manner in which all of your employees, including bank staff, conduct themselves in their interactions with each other, and also with the customers and clients of your massive world wide organization. “I did not come to this Earth to impress any person, or any group, with my credentials as a God; nor did I come here to be impressed by anyone or any organization in any way at any time for any reason. I am here, however, to impress upon every single member of the human race living on this planet today: the need for them to learn the true knowledge, and ancient methods, and ethical means, that they each need to use to take control of their own mortal lives; and start to live it responsibly, respectfully, and harmoniously – without harming or diminishing or controlling the lives or future of other beings who are living and learning and growing on this planet; and who will also die on the surface of the Mother Of The Earth, as they each eventually will do at the end of their current mortal lifetime.

It is my greatest wish, and my deepest intention, to reach every single member of the human race living on this planet today, with the body of ancient information, and the wealth of spiritual knowledge, that I have brought with me to show them, and to teach them, how to remove the shackles that are being used by those who have put themselves in authority over their lives and their future; and who have kept them living as mortal pawns, and human puppets, of the different systems that control their lives and the world that most of them live and work and pray and play in; and will die in today.

I am here to show each of them how to remove those chains of one form or another from their heart and mind and body and soul and spirit so that they can live as the spiritually enlightened and socially liberated beings that they are endowed with the divine (and inalienable) right to be – while allowing and supporting and protecting the right and freedom of all others who live in the world that they do, to live in the same manner without being harm; or without causing harm to another. I did not come to this Earth hoping to save the life of just one person, or even just some people. I came here to rescue every single one of them who is ready and willing and able to be liberated from the mortal shackles and mental chains that have bind the lives, and will destroy the future, of these beings forever! That is my job: no more, and no less – and I will get it done!

I love each and every single one of them regardless of what life form that they are living as mortal members of; regardless of how great or awful they may look or feel or think on the outside; and also on the inside. They are my own!
